Hi guys and gals.

What do you use to drive with in TrackMania? I'm just using my keyboard atm as my wheel is knackered. Would investing in a new one give me a few extra 100ths of performance?

Cheers,
Tigh

Most people say a steering wheel isn't good for TMU.
Being it's an arcade racer, I have to agree on that.
I'm using the keyboard, I'm not fast enough with a game pad.

hello
i use xbox 360 wireless pad works 110% great, but only one thing you must swicth pad on before you open the game..if not the controller will not work..another good thing NO WIRES wrapped around everywhere   Clin d'oeil  if you have a wireless 360 pad get into "game" shop and buy a wireless adaptor approx around 10pound much better than locked up fingers off the keyboard !!!! if you play long hours.. i also think the wheel for tmu is a bad idea..i never feel that the feed back is right for it..stick to pads for car games  Cheesy

original and sunrise environments were made with steering wheels and analogue pads in mind. thats why in the island environment top racers dont skid on fast bends.
stadium was built for keyboard and digital pads.

PS2 Controller plugged in via USB here also.

Gives me full analog steering, and either analog or digital accelleration
and breaking if i need more control over my speed.
