Description : Macedonia is a country that is in the centar of the Balkan peninsula in Southern Europe with an area of 25,713 km² square kilometres (9,779 sq mi). Around 2.1 million people lived in The Republic of Macedonia in 2002.

With it's beutifful Mountains and Lakes it is a great place to spend your holiday, winter or summer. It has more than 50 natural and artificial lakes and sixteen mountains higher than 2,000 meters (6,550 ft).
